Explosion spraying equipment
Explosion spraying process is as bellows:
Put oxygen, acetylene and spraying powder into the spray gun,
ignite and an explosion happens. In this process,
explosive gas temperature is up to 3450 ℃,
gas explodes in the rate of 2500 to 3000 m/s.
Melted spraying powder sprays the surface being sprayed
at the supersonic speed of 760 to1200 m/s.
Explosion spraying technique has the following features:
1, Coating layer is dense with porosity less than 1%.
2, Coating has a strong adhesion with substrate,
bonding strength 100 ~ 160MPa, maximum 250 MPa.
3, The operation is easy and simple. It can spray
on various parts, especially for large size workpiece.
4, A variety of spraying powder is used , such as a single metal,
alloy, a single oxide or mixed oxide, carbide to tungsten carbide or titanium carbide ceramic as the base metal, and various composite materials, etc. So explosion spraying can effectively improve surface wear resistance, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, conductivity, insulation, anti -friction and other physical and chemical properties.
